Frank & Ella is a nostalgic celebration of a bygone era. Alison and Lance tip their hats to two of the finest entertaininers of our time and the songs that made them famous: Fly Me To The Moon, A Tisket a Tasket, I've Got You Under My Skin, Black Magic & How High the Moon to name a few. Every song, every iconic arrangement in this elegant show will induce a nostalgic sigh.

With so many tribute acts on offer, what makes this show unique is that Lance and Alison honour Ol' Blue Eyes and The First Lady of Song without impersonating them. Always remaining true to who they are as artists in their own right, Lance and Alison bring an effortless elegance, humour and great respect for the original artists on stage with them.

Where would Ella and Frank have been without the likes of Count Basie or Nelson Riddle? The arrangements of these songs are equally as well known. The show features all of the original orchestrations that the audience would surely anticipate, whilst giving select numbers a subtle twist.

The show has been designed to go out with an 18 piece Big Band but works equally as well with the six piece line-up.

The Frank & Ella Show is available in the following line-ups:

The full show is available to book with an 18 piece Big Band. The lineup consists of 5 rhythm & 13 front line.

Although this repertoire packs an overwhelming musical punch with 13 front line, the show works quite perfectly with a 6 piece band, consisting of 4 Rhythm, Trumpet & Saxophone. All arrangements have been reduced to suit this line-up.

When songs of this era are written so well, they do stand alone with a grand piano, double bass & drums. The material has to be amended slightly, but for smaller venues / private parties, Alison and Lance could present a shorter show using this lineup, which brings a certain intimacy to the performance.
